Bundanoon is situated about 2 hours drive south of Sydney, in the Southern Highlands of NSW.

Bundanoon held it's first Highland Gathering in 1978 and since then, for one day every year, "Bundanoon is Brigadoon".

In 2017, the 40th Bundanoon Highland Gathering was celebrated. Jimmy Barnes was the Chieftain of the day.
